As a young girl, my father would sit me down on Saturday mornings and tell me imaginative stories of yesteryear, brilliant sagas of pirates commandeering ships and plundering for treasure or sheriffs who would dash in to save the damsel in distress. His fantastic accounts always put me in the forefront as the heroine of the story, tickling my fancy and giving a young girl a thirst for telling a tall tale.

The romance came later, after falling
in love with stories from authors Kathryn Woodwiss, LaVryle Spencer and Sandra Brown. Presently, I’m writing short contemporary romances for Silhouette Desire and an occasional western historical for Harlequin. I’ve written 28 books to date and consider myself fortunate to LOVE what I do.
